Braiform and Samuel Grant were shortlisted thanks to the environmental savings in film waste, film usage, transportation, and reduction in damaged goods that Braiform have reported on since installing the Samson Nano pallet wrapping machine. Thanks to both the inbuilt reporting software of the Samson Nano, and Braiform’s collaboration with a recycling and waste reduction company, the team were able to prove the claims with a series of figures, showing enormous improvement in the environmental impact of Braiform’s operation.
As the country’s leading specialist in closed loop clothes hanger recycling, Braiform’s environmental credentials are key to their working with key accounts such as Marks and Spencer, who need to ensure that their entire supply chain complies with their own environmental agenda. Their partnership with Samuel Grant is key to their ongoing success.
The awards were attended by over 500 delegates from around the country, and for Samuel Grant to have been shortlisted alongside Heinz, Primark and Sainsbury’s, was an immense achievement on its own.
Unfortunately this time there was no trophy to return to base with, but to see our name in lights alongside enormous blue-chips, and have the opportunity to network alongside them for the evening was an amazing experience. Thanks to Logistics Manager for organising such a brilliant evening.
